The service and its limits

Centering Lab provides a website, REST API, MCP server and plugins for AI assistants. The service is free, provided as is, and may change or stop at any time.

Results are grade ceilings from centering alone, estimated from a photograph and subject to your confirmation of the detected edges and lines. They are not predictions of the final grade or professional appraisals. We do not guarantee accuracy. Review the measurement before relying on it: condition, corners, edges and surface affect grading separately.

We are not affiliated with PSA, Beckett (BGS), CGC, SGC, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Konami or Bandai. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Permitted use

Use the service for personal and collecting purposes. Abuse, overloading, bypassing rate limits, bulk API scraping and unlawful activities are prohibited. API and MCP access is subject to limits; we may block abusive use.

Your photographs

On the website, photographs stay in your browser. Through the API, MCP or assistant plugins, photographs are processed in server memory and discarded. See our Privacy policy for details, including AI providers' separate handling of attachments. You must have the right to use any image you submit.

Content and ownership

Responsibility and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses or damage arising from grading, purchase or sale decisions based on these results. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded and does not restrict mandatory consumer rights.

Applicable law and changes

Italian law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Changes to these terms will be published on this page with a new update date.
